LOW GLANDULAR FUNCTION AND COPPER TOXICITY SERIES - PART I

When people have weak adrenal glands, their bodies do not regulate a very important enzyme called ceruloplasmin.  Healthy adrenals signal the liver to release ceruloplasmin, which is one of two enzymes that help the body utilize copper.  If there is not enough ceruloplasmin, copper will accumulate in the tissues, which feeds parasites and cannot activate zinc. Without a certain amount of available copper, zinc will not function and that can be devastating because zinc is required for over 500 metabolic reactions in the body; utilization of all other nutrients; synthesis of white blood cells; and many more things. The last item on the previous list is L'Histidine, an amino acid.  L-Histidine is a "non-essential" amino acid, which means that peoples' bodies can make it from other amino acids.  However, in the case of people with Pituitary and/or Adrenal weakness, their bodies are inadequate to fulfill this function and their L-histidine levels are extremely low. L-Histidine is the direct precursor of histamine and it regulates histamine reactions in the body.  People who have trouble sleeping have found that they can sleep if they take Benedryl, which suppresses histimines.  Unfortunately, this causes them to feel like they have a hangover in the morning.  Taking L-Histidine is a much better option.  It is anti-inflammatory and helps reduce histamine reactions in the...

People who have impaired Adrenal function, develop parasite infestation.  You saw in one of the previous articles that Canine heartworm can infest the bloodstream.  Since mosquitoes can carry Dirofilaria to animals, they can also carry it to humans.  There are many other parasites that accumulate in a weakened condition, and this is often the result of Impaired Sulfur Oxidation. There are genetic tests that can be done that tell if you have difficulty "methylating," and "sulfating".  A few quick questions will usually tell you if these are a problem.  But I won't mention those here.  If a person begins to supplement with methylated supplements and they feel ill or dizzy, then they have difficulty processing sulfur.  I usually have them...

Histamines are inflammatory agents that cause allergy and sensitivity symptoms.  These can be regulated when there is enough L-Histidine in the body.  L-Histidine has essential roles that go far beyond regulating histamines.
